Being so snowed under with my spn_j2_bigbang I promised myself I wouldn't peruse this months spn_kinkmeme because the prompts are just too tempting and I just don't have to time to work on anything but my BB. However, I did post a prompt of my own, never really thinking it would be claimed and that I would get some scorchingly hot fic from it. But it happened and fast (less than 2 hours after I posted the prompt). So here it is. It's a 6 part WIP which I really, really hope the author will continue that is filled with lots of my favourite kinks.
My prompt: With same-sex marriage becoming legal all over the world back in the early 80's, other formerly taboo relationships are now being recognised such as incest, polygamous and underage marriages.
Sam and Dean get married when they are 7 & 11. Dean marries John at 12 as will Sam when he turns 12. With John as their husband Sam and Dean refer to themselves as brother-wives.
Can be sweet and schmoopy or dark and ultra kinky (anything goes and I mean-- ANYTHING). Would love to see a focus on each of the wedding nights and how John and Dean differ in their roles as Sam's husbands, especially when it comes to sex. Extra bonus points for it ending with Mpreg.

Waiting to be claimed is scary!!!!
Aug. 14th, 2012 08:05 pmI thought pushing the send button on my email programme to submit the first draft of my mini spn_hardcore_bb was scary but it turns out that was nothing compared to waiting for some lovely artist to claim my fic. Find myself checking the comm every couple of hours to see if my fic has been claimed but no such luck yet. Am kinda glad that there are still a couple of other mini's and big bangs awaiting adoption otherwise I might feel like a complete loser. Brings back too many not-so-pleasant memories of usually being picked last for sports teams.
Speaking of my fic, I guess this would be a good time to put the call out for a beta reader or two. Not really after spelling & grammar, more in need of someone to kick my ass and tell me with brutal honesty what (if anything) works and what sucks. So far it's at 19 word pages (8500 words) and (cross fingers) about 3/4 done. It will probably reach 10-12,000 words.

All of these fics have just been exploding out of my brain, taking me down twisting back-roads and crazy side-trails in directions that I could never have imagined. I've tried fighting them and gagging John (as he's been the biggest culprit of veering me off course) but I've now given up control of the steering wheel and am just going along for the ride and what an amazing, sexy, kinky ride it's turning out to be.

Big Bang ----- The Anti-Update
May. 1st, 2012 11:41 pmIt's 10.45pm on May 1st, the deadline for first drafts for the spn_j2_bigbang is midnight and my fic sits on my laptop in a state of utter messiness and unfinshed scenes and scraps of action and dialogue that begin great and lead nowhere and it's not going anywhere. I decided about a week ago not to submit even the first draft and only now with just over an hour til the deadline has it really hit me. Also not helping is seeing all the posts of sheer delight and relief on my flist of fellow bb'ers finishing their's and sending them off to the BB mods. But I am truly happy for those of you dedicated and talented and organised enough to have gotten this far. You rock, guys, every single one of you and I can't wait for June to arrive so I can read all the wonderful fics.

So farewell BigBang2012. It was a hell of a fun, but scary ride while it lasted and despite all the stress and tears and days where the boys wouldn't let me see or hear what was going on, (and when they did it was things I had no idea they would do and which changed the whole tone and direction of the story, but always for the better) I can't wait to continue the journey over the coming months and hopefully arrive at May 2013 with a fully finished fic ready to share with the SPN family.

I absolutely loved the latest ep of Supernatural. It was funny and scary and Sam (and Jared) was gorgeous, Dean was the typical big brother in full-on big brother teasing mode. There was fantastic continuity and call backs to eps from the past, Houses Of The Holy and Everybody Loves Clowns. One of my favourites was Sam's little snort when Dean mentioned Leprecauns. Sam did fight and defeat one in Clap Your Hands from last season. And we found out more about Sam's childhood. And they got each other presents at the end!!!! And Dean laughed and teased Sam (the ball-washer exchange was just priceless) and Sam laughed right along with him. One of the best brother moments since their gift giving at the end of Supernatural Christmas.
Doesn't get any better than this or at least so I thought til I saw this on my flist.

Big Bang fic update #2 and a breakthrough
Feb. 7th, 2012 04:34 pm12, 348 words down, only another 7652 to go! And I'm still coming up with fresh ideas and outlining scenes. Chapter 1 is coming along great but still needs a lot of fleshing out, expanding scenes and writing transitions (at which I suck). With as well as Ch 1 is progressing I'm thinking I may be able to drop some of the weaker scenes where I really only have a vague idea of what's going to happen, or just a couple of lines of dialogue that I have no idea what do with. Hell, ch1 might just turn out to be BB length all by itself and that would be fine by me.
