Went to bed still undecided about which pairing/prompt combo I was going to write for spnspringfling. Had narrowed it down to either of 2 pairings and either of 2 prompts.

And my crazy subconscious did not let me down. Woke up this morning with a line of dialogue running through my brain and thought Yes!!! That's it!! That's the story I want to write!! Now to decide which pairing to tell it with. Of the 2 most likely, I haven't posted any fic with them but I have written a couple of unfinished fics.

My first thought was going with the pairing I've written most of but I knew straight away it was going to be very dark, basically non-con torture porn. Now I love reading that stuff and love writing it even more, but I was really worried about my recipient finding it disgusting and perverted and such a total turn-off that they wouldn't read past all the warnings I would have to include. Makes it hard to know how far I can go when we don't get lists of likes and squicks with the pairings & prompts. Heck, we don't even know who we are writing for so can't check out their fic list to see what they are into.

So back to the drawing board. I was really hooked on the 1st line so didn't want to try to come up with something else. Was taking my dog for his morning walkies and I swear to god I hear 1 of the characters in the other pairing saying a very similar line in my mind and all of a sudden all these scenes and snippets and ideas are flooding into my brain and I'm grinning like a bloody idiot as I'm so excited about what this fic can turn into.

So I've basically got the whole fic sitting in my brain. Just hope I can get it on the screen without it changing too much as I really love it so far.

I'm very seriously thinking about writing a scene in a current fic where Crowley protects Sam from being raped by Demon!Dean. It's been running through my mind non-stop for the last day or so and I know I cannot resist much longer.

What the Hell is wrong with me????

Crowley, a demon for God's sake AND the King of Hell no less!!!! objecting to Dean fucking Sam without Sam's consent all because he is still (in my fic's universe) addicted to human blood and wants (and perhaps even needs) Sam to love him and want him. And then I realised that even "pre trials changed" Crowley had morals and ethics unusual for a demon. Such as honouring contracts to the very letter, punishing demons for breaking Demon Deal contracts and then objecting to demons running a brothel.

But still!!! What the hell are you doing to me, muse????

Am so, so close to finishing my fic for spnspringfling but I only have 508 words left out of the 2500 max and I need more, I want more to write the fic I really want to write and to tell the story that the characters want to tell.

I'm trying to be as brief and succinct as I can but for the first time in ages, I'm writing an extended sex scene and it's flowing wonderfully and it's sexy and it's hot like WHOA!!!! and I just don't want to have to cut it short but I'm afraid I'm going to have because certain things must still happen that I haven't written yet and I don't really want to rush the ending. But, damn it, I love this sex scene!!!!!

Plus, I didn't manage to include more than a couple of lines of very brief slash in last year's Springfling, so I really wanted to do something much longer and more integral to the story this time around.

So, is anyone else finished their fics yet? And if so, did you manage to write the fic you wanted to write within the small word count limit??? Cos I'm struggling right now but I prefer to have too many ideas than not enough or even the dreaded writer's block.

So firesign10 and were talking and she used the term porn-a-palooza and I got this hysterical idea..

Porn-a-palooza.. the bigbang/minibang of PWP.. 10k or more plot unnecessary just give us as much of your best porn as possible.. It can also be Art but the Art would have to be super explicit with at least there works to tell a decent story of the experience.

I just wonder how many people would participate in something like that, because it would be awesome to just have some perfectly direct pornography no worrying about plot or continuity, what's canon what's not.. Just Write or Draw some fucking Awesome Pornos....

With my other BigBang fic on hold, I've just signed up for the samdean_otp minibang.



Out of a few possibilities in my unfinished fic folder, (Thank god for my habit of never deleting stuff) my best option is already halfway done at 5K (minibang word minimum is 10,000) but will need a lot of work, especially as it currently about 99% porn and no plot.

While looking through that folder, I came across a longer original fic started a long time ago that will be my very first J2. It will also need some serious editing but the guts of the story and most of the current scenes are in pretty good shape. The only negative is that it's 1st person POV which I've haven't seen much of in SPN/J2 fandom and I really don't want to rewrite it as 3rd person POV.
