So, so many things but if I had to pick just one it would be the look on Sam's face when he says, "Welcome back, Dean." There s so much love in that little almost smile, especially in his eyes. And I also see more than a trace of contentment, perhaps even pride, of Sam knowing that he has finally been able to save his brother.

Date: 2014-12-05 03:11 am (UTC)Oh man, that bit when Bobby says "lose my number" is so awful - especially when, once Sam is gone, Dean doesn't even bother to defend his brother. He's not happy when demon!Bobby talks about not trying so hard to save him, though.
Sam saying he wasn't pure enough to go on a quest broke my heart. This idea that even as a kid Sam felt like there was something wrong, it's just so sad.
No wonder Sam never thinks he is worth saving.
And yet, despite Sam's unwavering commitment, Dean thinks he's not worth saving himself. Oh, those boys. *sniff*
