So sad :-( but sadly not surprised :-(

and there are already negative comments about him "selling out" and "only doing it for the money", plus criticizing that it's for McDonalds and not something healthier, both in the comments on his Facebook and elsewhere (LJ, twitter. I don't do tumblr but I can imagine it's happening there as well). I wish people wouldn't always think the worse especially when they don't have all the information as to why Jared is doing it or how he benefits. For all we know he may very well be donating any money McDonalds is paying him to one of the numerous charities he supports.
Guess after the recent YANA fiasco (yes, Jared/AKF is involved but in a totally invisible way :-/ ) I'm especially sensitive at the moment when it comes to Jared. Just wish everyone remembered the saying I grew up with: If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I work crazy hours, even when I’m home ! Best part about being in Austin? Picking up the kiddos!Thank goodness for McDonald's #AllDayBreakfast, otherwise I’d never fit in breakfast! #ad http://bit.ly/1mnGWe7

Date: 2016-02-17 05:39 am (UTC)If it helps at all, I am personally a big fan of McDonald's breakfast sandwiches. XP I don't mean for that to come across as flippant--I really do. I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other about these commercials because, I mean, I'm neither JP nor his manager and he should do whatever he wants to do.
I hate it when the Internet--with no actual facts at all, and far less understanding of anything than their extremely convoluted, delusional, etc. theories would let on--narrativizes people like that. We always seem to think we know more than we do? Like, calm down, Internet. Accept that you don't actually have enough information to have authority to speak to things like this. And it's not that you don't have this information because it's being hidden from you, or unrightfully withheld or whatever. It's just not your problem! (And I'm speaking here, of course, of the general 'you' making accusations and spinning theories and whatnot--not YOU you!)
