So, tell me, what's the best way - in your opinion - to make mashed potatoes?

There has been!!! I just thought we could all do with some light and happy fun to remind us that LJ is still a wonderful place to be filled with wonderful people.

I cook my spuds until they are really, really tender, add lots and lots of butter (so much the mash turns pale yellow) and lots of lemon pepper seasoning with a dash of salt. Have also added finely grated parmesan cheese when I want to really spoil myself.

Delicious! I am one who adds way more butter than we really should, and cheese too sometimes, but there's nothing like making a hollow in the centre and pouring in a nice thick gravy ;P
