Still slowly making my way through all the marvellous fics we were blessed with this year. However due to a crazy work schedule over the next 2 days and a local Comic Con this weekend, will have to put reading more of them on hold til next week. But I promise to get to them all eventually and leave comments.

My crazy schedule:
Work:
Thurs 4pm-12.15am Fri morning
Fri 10am-2pm
Sat 1200am-6.30am

Somehow have to squeeze in a few hours sleep between shifts. Good thing I don't have too much trouble falling asleep during the day. Will have time for a quick shower after Sat AM shift before I head to ComicCon and a marvellous weekend fangirling with my fellow fangirls and SPNFamily (and about 15,000 other geeks and nerds and cool folks)

Weekend at Oz ComicCon
Sat 8am-6pm- photos with Jim, Rachel and Joe Flanigan and their panels as well. Try to meet up with as many folks from my FB group as I can find.
Sat 6.30pm Pre-dinner drinks with the ladies from my local SPNFamily FB group I run.
Sat 8pm-10pm Dinner with Jim Beaver and Rachel Miner. We get a group photo with them as well!!!
10pm-??? post dinner drinks (most likely coffee!!) to squee and celebrate having dinner with Jim and Rachel!!!
Sun 8am-6pm More panels with Jim, Rachel and Joe, get all my photo ops signed, buy some merch (hopefully SPN funkos)

It's going to be a very exhausting but awesome weekend and I can't wait!!!!

On Sat April 2nd I will be having dinner at Perth OzComicCon with about a dozen awesome ladies from the local SPNFamily FB group I run. Joining us will be Jim Beaver and Rachel Miner.

Yes!!!!!!!!! I am having dinner with Bobby and Meg 2.0!!!!!






My wish has come true :-) Rachel was announced today and extra dinner tickets were also released. Alas for me, I don't get paid until tomorrow and currently have less than $30 in my account and knew that there would be almost no chance of tickets still being available in 24 hours. Was chatting about Rachel's announcement on the FB group when one of the gals (K) messages me privately and offers to buy me a ticket today and I can pay her back once I get paid.

It was an amazing and so generous offer that I was in shock for a few seconds before quickly replying and thanking her from the bottom of my heart. Now these tickets aren't cheap. With the usual fees and booking charges, the cost is about $220, so it's not exactly small change K was offering to spend at very short notice.

I can't wait to meet up with her at OzCC next month and give her the most squishiest hug possible.

The good: Jim Beaver is coming to my local ComicCon in April. Meet him back in 2012 and loved him. He's fantastic, so down-to-earth and a wonderful storyteller too. Can't wait to see him again for panels, photos and autos.

The bad: tickets to have dinner with him (and perhaps 1 or 2 as yet unannounced SPN actors) sold out so quickly I missed getting one. :-(
