Plus, I just want to say how really happy I am that Jared has grown out the infamous and unflattering "Bob" hairstyle. May it never return!!!!!

I forget it's summer over there, while I'm freezing my arse off in Australia.

Both Jared and Jensen are huge on the beards. It's like "No Supernatural! Let's never shave again!"

Yeah. Apparently it was 90F and very humid in Austin today, so no wonder Jared and others were sweating buckets. But I also thank God he was otherwise we wouldn't have gotten the awesome black t-shirt he wore in the panel.

Both guys have said they try to get as far away from Sam and Dean as they can during hiatus and I read/heard Jared say that Gen hides his razor once filming is done for the season.

It's not so unusual for actors/guys in general.
If you have to keep a certain appearance for a job it's probably nice to not have to do it when you have time off.
Plus, as I said - the wives like their manly bearded men and hiatus is the time to get that look.
I admit I like it as well (as long as it's a short, well-groomed beard like his is - not the extreme hipster beard like the one Jason likes these days)
