I saw the photos from the Gilmore Girls reunion on Twitter, thought Jared looked very lumberjack, wondering if he was still struggling. It's sweet he's being babysit by Jensen, though. Hope he's getting plenty of J2 cuddles. <3

Lumberjack? It's summer break which means Austin sun/tan, and free to let his hair and beard grow.
So that look is not about struggling, it's his "on break at home relaxing and Gen likes the bearded mountain man" look

Both Jared and Jensen are huge on the beards. It's like "No Supernatural! Let's never shave again!"

Yeah. Apparently it was 90F and very humid in Austin today, so no wonder Jared and others were sweating buckets. But I also thank God he was otherwise we wouldn't have gotten the awesome black t-shirt he wore in the panel.

Both guys have said they try to get as far away from Sam and Dean as they can during hiatus and I read/heard Jared say that Gen hides his razor once filming is done for the season.

It's not so unusual for actors/guys in general.
If you have to keep a certain appearance for a job it's probably nice to not have to do it when you have time off.
Plus, as I said - the wives like their manly bearded men and hiatus is the time to get that look.
I admit I like it as well (as long as it's a short, well-groomed beard like his is - not the extreme hipster beard like the one Jason likes these days)

Yes! The babysitting! This made my heart explode :) I keep thinking how Jensen's little girl is growing up with two "brothers" and it's almost too much emotionally! (also the romantic in me can't help hoping for a wedding someday...wonder which one she'll pick?)

After all the goodness that we got from the reunion I had though my day was complete and then I saw the J2 pic and I literally squee'd out loud. As much as I missed seeing Jared, I'd also really missing seeing him with Jensen too especially after all the wonderful AKF pics and vids and the wonderful end-of-filming ones too.

I wonder if Jensen would let JJ marry one of the Padalecki boys. Have a feeling he is going to very protective of his baby girl as she grows up. But yeah, it would be awesome!!!
