Oh what a feeling!!!!!!

Just started working again on my fic for the samdean_otp mini-bang and read through what I'd already written for the second chapter. It's a shower scene that has been giving me lots of trouble, sounding perfect in my head and crap as I type it up. A note at the top says it needs a major re-write and yet when I read it today, I actually liked it. I liked it a lot. Sure it still needs some minor tweaking to smooth things out, but it's a lot better than I had previously thought. Have even worked out how to include a bit of background info and a flashback or two.

I LOVE writing right now!!!!

It is cruel which is why I'm so happy that I'm really enjoying myself and my writing at the moment. I read plenty of posts by my favourite authors where things are not so good and feel the same way at times (my writing sucks, my fics suck, I suck) that during the good times, I like to revel in it.

PS, I'm hoping you are still interested in doing beta for me or at least giving me some general feedback.

I think it's just the way it works. I've been dragging my minibang out of my muse 100 words at a time, I think the story is okay but the execution is like pulling teeth right now...but then I went on masquerade and BAM! 2k crack!fic in one sitting...Infuriating! It is totally worth slogging through the sludgy writing spells to get to the good stuff though : )

Great!!!! I should mention this is the fic that you beta'd the first chapter for me ages ago. The one that is AU from Torn and Frayed with Dean's mysterious hook-up/threesome that you wanted me to expand on. I hope to have a draft of chapter 2 finished in the next couple of days to send you.
