Oh, very fun! But 4:30 to 5? Oh, goodness you're making me sleepy just thinking about it. It is, though, adorable that your dog's name is Sam and orangutans are super awesome! Such incredible creatures.

Well, I leave home at 5.30am to start work at 6 if I have a morning shift. What really sucks thoough, is even when I have the afternoon shift starting at 1 or 2pm, I still wake up by 5am. Most times I am able to go back to sleep for a couple of hours, at least until Sam decides he's slept enough and wakes me up by jumping on me.

It was a no brainer naming him when we adopted each other a couple of years ago. It really suits him and his nickname is Samifer for when he gets really naughty and misbehaves.

My previous baby, see icon, was named after Scully from the X-Files, so it's a trend that I'm likely to continue with future pets.

While I can occasionally stay up that late, I most definitely couldn't start doing anything at 6am. And that is supremely annoying. Once your body gets set on a time it certainly does like to stick with it - so do pets ;)

Oh my goodness, Samifer is uber adorable! And I have the same sort of name for my dog - I named him Angel after the vampire on the Angel series, but when he's being wicked he's Angelus, which was the name for that character when he went all evil.

And X-Files was my first fandom so I also had a pair of parakeets named Mulder and Scully and a guinea pig named Dana - characters make such lovely pet names.

I was going to be a typical Aussie and say kudos for the excessive alcohol consumption but I know that being hospitalised for it is actually a very serious situation to be in. It's a wonder it doesn't happen more often than it does. Or maybe I just don't see it.
