My very first glimpse of Jared....

Little did I know back in June 2009 how much of an effect he would have on me and how much I would grow to love, admire and respect him. He's been an amazing inspiration during some very dark times even before he started his wonderful Always Keep Fighting campaign.

The thing about Sam for me has always been that he's a slow-burn kind of character. It takes a while to *get* him and appreciate his personality. Which kind of happens in-universe as well. Look, for example, at Cas. He found himself attracted (in a non-Destiel way) to Dean fairly quickly, because Dean has a more outgoing personality and is actually, I think, a lot better with people. But it took a while for him to understand where Sam was coming from, but they have built up an incredibly strong friendship.
