Went to bed still undecided about which pairing/prompt combo I was going to write for

spnspringfling. Had narrowed it down to either of 2 pairings and either of 2 prompts.

And my crazy subconscious did not let me down. Woke up this morning with a line of dialogue running through my brain and thought Yes!!! That's it!! That's the story I want to write!! Now to decide which pairing to tell it with. Of the 2 most likely, I haven't posted any fic with them but I have written a couple of unfinished fics.

My first thought was going with the pairing I've written most of but I knew straight away it was going to be very dark, basically non-con torture porn. Now I love reading that stuff and love writing it even more, but I was really worried about my recipient finding it disgusting and perverted and such a total turn-off that they wouldn't read past all the warnings I would have to include. Makes it hard to know how far I can go when we don't get lists of likes and squicks with the pairings & prompts. Heck, we don't even know who we are writing for so can't check out their fic list to see what they are into.

So back to the drawing board. I was really hooked on the 1st line so didn't want to try to come up with something else. Was taking my dog for his morning walkies and I swear to god I hear 1 of the characters in the other pairing saying a very similar line in my mind and all of a sudden all these scenes and snippets and ideas are flooding into my brain and I'm grinning like a bloody idiot as I'm so excited about what this fic can turn into.

So I've basically got the whole fic sitting in my brain. Just hope I can get it on the screen without it changing too much as I really love it so far.
