amazing and wonderful and brilliant and I'm feeling all the feels and all the love right now from the SPN cast and crew to all of us fans and from the fans right back at this awesome SPNfamily who have given us so much joy and heartache these past 10 years.

Was it perfect? No, but I think I may just change my mind after a couple more viewings. There was so much to take in, so many shout-outs to fans and fandom and Sam!Girls and Dean!Girls and Bro-fans and Destiel fans and Sastiel fans, that my head is simply spinning right now.

Was it the best episode ever?? No. That is still (and probably always will be) Mystery Spot. But, as Jeremy Carver put it, it was a love letter to the fans and it is right up there with the best of the best.

Beautiful in it's simplicity.

The opening sequence with every single title card the show has ever done.

The writer/director is a Sam!Girl!!!!!! How awesome is that????? Pretty damn awesome!!!!! Especially given that the show is so much seen through Dean's eyes and his POV.

"My sweet, brave, selfless Sam. There's nothing he can't do."

Loved Sam going through all the different ship names and Dean getting more annoyed with each one.

The cast singing "Carry On My Wayward Son." I think that's my favourite version ever. I love how they kept it very simple, knowing how much the song means to the fans. Tears were in my eyes during this song. And the looks on the boys' faces as they listened, wow!!!!

The return of the Samulet and Dean hanging it over the Impala's rear view mirror. Am super, super sad that it wasn't the REAL amulet, though.

I loved it, sweetie! I was just fine until the very end when the first notes of Carry on My Wayward Son started playing and the look on their faces as they watched. Then they tossed in Chuck and I was gone!

It truly was a love letter, through and through! :)

It's going to be so hard to follow up such a beautiful ep. I'm esp looking forward to seeing if the prop!amulet is still on the rearview mirror next week.

Oh, so many tears, but they were mostly happy and joyous ones.

I love letters, too and this one was just about perfect. What an amazing cast, crew and Fandom we have. We are so very, very lucky!!!!!

The episode had a wonderful sweetness to it. It was loving and certainly gentle in the way it skewered itself and its fans, embracing SPN in all its billiances and foibles :) and the great duo of Sam and Dean.

Yes!!!! I think it showed that Show knows and loves us just as much as we know and love the Show. I don't think I've ever seen Fandom so united with love for one episode.

Such a perfect, awesome episode. A million and one details that all for me at least worked.
And it really was a love letter to the fans. Nothing ugly or uncomfortable, just sweet and fun and funny and set in an all girls school was perfect for FanFiction LOL
And the Carry On My Wayward Son lullaby. I've loved the simple version that a fan made and it looked like they just added the girls voices over that. It was perfect.
And ending with the samulet and the car, and Chuck. PERFECT!
