Damn the need to sleep!!!!!

spn_reversebang claims opened tonight at 11pm my time. I slept past 11, ended up putting it my claim at 11.32pm and may still get my 2nd choice. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've skimmed all the prior comments and only 2 other people had it in their lists and both of those received other prompts so it's still available.

Even if I had posted at 11pm as was my plan, my first choice was taken by someone who posted within about 30 seconds of claims opening, so I doubt I would have gotten it anyways.

Just waiting, waiting, waiting for the mods to confirm that R2027-- Chained is mine.

ETA: I got it!!!!!!!! Now I just have to write it!!!! Have some initial ideas to begin with and can't wait to get input and more inspiration from my artist.

Yay for getting your first choice! I got mine too, even though I only decided this morning that I was going to claim. :) I was so stressed when I took part in 2012 as I only had one piece of art that I was desperate to claim (I got it then too) so I decided this year (having experienced how fast claims go in) that I was going to be all zen and if I got some art I got some art, and if not then it wasn't meant to be.

Of course when I'd chosen the pieces and started to think about potential stories, my zen quickly went AWOL and I was all heart pounding when claiming opened! Fortunately I was on the first page so it was pretty easy to work out that I was going to get my first choice.

So yay for us and happy writing!

I actually got my 2nd but as I only put in 2 choices, it really doesn't matter. I had a really good think about putting in all 5 but was then so worried about getting a lower choice and struggling to come up with an idea to write, then having to pull out and disappointing the artist. Mind, you I didn't have any ideas early on for #2 either but once I found out it was mine, they started flooding my brain and I quickly started writing the outline.

My artist has contacted me and she's really talented and amazing so I am just so happy. Have sent her the outline and really hope she likes it.
