Having a discussion with a friend on FB about who our dream con guest that we haven't met yet is and hers is Anthony Head (Giles in Buffy). She's been wanting to meet him for over 12 years and is sort of losing hope that she will. We live in Australia and while we now have lots of cons each year, getting big overseas stars to travel so far is still a bit difficult.

He was my number one fandom crush then, and still is, even after all these years, and even though others have wormed their way into my affections.

and then she ends with a line that makes me want to both laugh and cry:

He's for me what Jared is to you.

She couldn't have said anything more perfect to get me to completely understand how much she loves and admires Anthony.

BTW, now that I've met both Jared and Jensen, David Tennant is my #1 on my will-do-anything to meet list.

Okay I went to the recording of the Friday Night Project back in 2007 - http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8l98u_friday-night-project-david-tennant_shortfilms I'm in that audience, at one point you can actually see me but the quality is kinda crappy on all the vids I've found (I have my own copy, lol)

Anyway, the filming itself takes a good three-four hours and he wandered the audience in between takes. He spoke to a load of us, chatted and such.

I....you know I have a filthy sense of humour right? so there's a picture of DT knocking about with nothing but a policeman's helmet on his head from a play called, "What the butler saw!" which is DONKEY's years old. Most the pics have gone, but I happen to have a few copies and angles. I told him I had them and he was all, "Dirty bitch, I thought I'd had those all removed!" He smells fabulous, he's got such a silky Scots accent up close and his smile is made of sunshine!!

I got to chat to him a few times as he wandered around. He's just lovely :D He also has a TERRIBLY EVIL AND SICK sense of humour, some of the shit he was saying in between takes *giggles*

You have naked DT pics????? Now I really am jealous!!! Must know, are they full-frontal or from behind or much less revealing, ala from waist up??? Or should I remain ignorant and just let my imagination fill in the details??? For as much as I love him (and this goes for J2 too as well) I have no real desire to see the whole package.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his smile. When he was all serious and angsty on Dr Who, then all of a sudden he would smile and it would light up his whole face and by god he looked a thousand times even more gorgeous.

Come across a documentary he narrated about dolphins on TV last night and I could listen to his beautiful Scottish accent forever, unfortunately I had to leave for work so couldn't watch the whole thing.
