Dropping by to say that I will be answering the comments I've gotten for the character meme. Thanks to those who have already given me some very interesting characters to think about and if anyone wants to add to the list, feel free.

I've just started back at work after 5 weeks off (annual leave) and I was pretty exhausted, so did nothing much but sleep and watch SPN today. But I will get on to them tomorrow.

Speaking of show: I was incredibly bored with it on first viewing but that may have been because of how tired I was, could barely keep my eyes open. Have re-watched it after a very refreshing 10 hours sleep, and while it won't ever be a favourite, it wasn't nearly as bad as I first thought. There are still things that annoyed me (Rowena) but there are also bits that I really liked (pretty much all Sam-related). Planning to do a more detailed reaction post tomorrow but it's off to work I must go now.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time caring about anything Rowena does too. I'm just not getting it.

Me, too. I didn't think I could dislike a character as much as I do Metatron but Rowena is right down there with him. And, as with Metatron, it's a combination of both the character and actor. I think both are so overplayed that it's ridiculous. They remind me of cartoon villains.

I really hope both are killed off by the end of the season and NEVER, EVER return.

For me, I think it's more Metatron's actions and his attitude toward them that made me hate him so much. He's just so snide and conceited. I want someone to smack the smile off his face. Which could all be connected to overacting. There's nothing left to make him a sympathetic character, he's just evil for the sake of being evil. I can't stand villains like that. Rowena isn't much better in that regard. Death to both characters would give me a great sense of satisfaction.

Five weeks, mannnnn! I'd never wanna go back after that amount of time!

I didn't!!!! And those 1st 3 shifts back were hell. Not so much being awake from midnight to 8AM, but being on my feet for the whole 8 hours. My feet and lower back were killing me by about 6am.

Had 5 weeks as I'd worked over 18 months without taking leave and I still have 2 weeks left available to me. Will probably take a few days to cover the trip to Melbourne and Sydney for AHBL. After the big US trip in November which is 4 weeks, I think I'll take my leave more often, hopefully a couple of weeks every 6 months or so.

Oh OUCH hun I feel THAT pain, all I do at work is stand, all day! It hurts doesn't it! I used to work the nights too, care home night shifter so yeah O_O

Yes hun, take more regular leave it's good for the soul *hugs*
