Been almost tearing my hair out trying to come up with an idea that didn't suck ( or hell, any idea at all!!!!) and all of a sudden one comes and lots of details and plot points come along with it. It just seemed to pop into my head almost fully formed. Wow...... what a blessed relief. Now I just have to write the damned thing and figure out some minor details like POV and the all important sex-scene.

It's gonna be angsty and kinda dark Wincest with a hint of D/s but hopefully not too kinky as I don't know if my recipient is as twisted and perverted as I am.

LOL-- I relate! I wasn't sure I was gonna be able to come up with ANYTHING for my prompts at the Big Pretzel spring fic exchange, cuz I'm not very good at light-hearted stuff though I love to read it-- but then my fic just sprang to life and kinda wrote itself. Love when that happens!

*\o/* for the fully formed idea with accompanying plot points! Your process sounds very similar to mine, I get those types of scenarios all the time, the trick is getting them coherently to paper/screen, LOL!

Good luck with your masterpiece hun, I'm certain your recipient will love it, as will the rest of us who wait with mouthwatering anticipation for "the all important sex scene" :D

I am writing and it's making me very happy. I've got almost 500 words, and though that doesn't sound like a lot, I'm nearly 20% done and have to get to the main plot of the fic.

Glad I'm not alone with not being able to just pull ideas out of my brain. I can usually get one or two small ideas or scraps of scenes and/or dialogue but very rarely do I get the whole story from beginning to end. Which was good for this as we are on such a tight deadline.

Congrats on your breakthrough. I'm sure it's fantastic.

The sex scene is going to be the hardest part, I think. So it's good that it's at the end of the fic and I can put off writing it for a while.

Yes, all my fics are brilliant masterpieces in my head but getting them on the screen is so hard at times. But this one seems to be translating fairly easily.
