Bit of good news, bit of bad news

The good: Jim Beaver is coming to my local ComicCon in April. Meet him back in 2012 and loved him. He's fantastic, so down-to-earth and a wonderful storyteller too. Can't wait to see him again for panels, photos and autos.

The bad: tickets to have dinner with him (and perhaps 1 or 2 as yet unannounced SPN actors) sold out so quickly I missed getting one. :-(

Crossing fingers they might release more when other SPN guests are revealed.

Unfortunately you pay for all tickets up front when you order them, like buying from an online shop. Unless someone wants to sell theirs then there's no chance of getting one. :-(

A few of my friends managed to get dinner tickets so I'll at least hear from them what happens and how wonderful Jim is. And we are going as a big group (hopefully at least a dozen or more) to his panels to give him a really big and loud #SPNFamily welcome.

Aw that's great, hon. I met Jim Beaver as well, back in 2009. He is a lovely guy. I'm so glad you'll get to see him again!

Boo that the dinner tickets are sold out, though :( It's good that you'll get to see him at least!

Oh, how cool! It sucks that the dinner was sold out before you had a chance to snag a ticket, though. :( As you said, hopefully more opportunities arise as the date draws nearer~
