69: the number of #AlwaysKeepFighting t-shirts Jared needs to sell to reach 29,000 sold.

With 3 days left, he is going to sell over 30,000 shirts. That's simply amazing and just an awesome testament to how well he has run this campaign, to all the time and effort he has put into spreading the word and promoting on Twitter, Facebook and in the press. His almost daily FB posts and vids, his prizes of phone-calls and signed scripts and follows on Twitter have me waking every morning excited to see what he has posted overnight.

He deserves all the kudos for this, he's worked hard and he's made sure to promote it the way it should be, so very lovely!

And it also explains, I think, why he has sold so many, many more shirts that Jensen or Misha, not that it's a competition. We still don't know the charity for Jensen's shirt and I can't recall him doing a lot of promotion on either twitter or FB.

As of me writing this he's up to 31,000 with still about 40 hours to go. And they have been selling pretty steadily for the whole 2 weeks.

It's just another reason I'm so happy to be meeting him. He is just an awesome guy.

I think it's remarkable, and completely selfless, in the fact that he already puts so much time into his fandom life, his show life, and he's completely open with himself and now he's sharing even more.

He's done well with this, but it just goes to show, when it matters it matters and he's willing to go the extra mile.

Out of curiosity, I just checked Jensen's FB and he posted a pic wearing his t-shirt on Feb 14th to launch the campaign and that was the only mention. No follow up at all, not even towards the end of the 2 weeks to urge fans to buy before it was too late.

On twitter, there was 1 tweet on Feb 14th and 1 more on Feb 23rd.

I wonder if he does another one, he'll copy Jared and do much more aggressive marketing and fan interaction.

I'm in no way dissing on Jensen. I love him dearly and I love what he's done but, as Jared has shown, he could have done so, so much more!!!!

And I really hope Jared does another shirt in the future. You just know it would be also be a contest to see if we could buy even more shirts next time 'round.

He's now less than 500 away from 40,000 with about 15 hours to go. I think he'll get there!!!!

I think that's mainly to do with the fact despite his appearance to share more, he's still quite shy, bless him, this whole social media thing is new to him and he's still finding his footing. If he does another I hope he takes Jared's lead :)

Of course he'll get there, it's SO impressive!
